Metrowest COVID Safety Protection Plan

Our Club will follow all guidelines set forth by USA Volleyball, New England Region Volleyball, the State of Massachusetts, and the CDC with respect to Covid guidelines and restrictions. 

There are currently no restrictions in place.  We recommend the use of a mask while at practice.

If a player, coach or parent has tested positive they must not attend practice sessions until their quarantine period is complete. If a player has been a close contact then they should also skip a practice session until they have a negative test result. We will run on the premise of "Better to be safe than sorry". Final decisions on a players attendance at a practice if a positive result may be a possibility is at the discretion of the Club Director.  Please check in advance as we protect the health of everyone.

When there are restrictions placed on Massachusetts sports organizations from the State and Specific Sports Governing Agencies surrounding the COVID pandemic, we will require the following safety measures be imposed per rules and guidelines setforth.

Players will be required to do the following until the mandates are lifted:

• Fill out the online health questioner prior to attending a practice session
• Have a temperature check when entering the courts (club has non-contact infra-red temperature device)
• Sign in to attendance sheet. Attendance is required for contact tracing efforts
• Wear a face mask/covering during practice (player provided)
• Social distance during water breaks. Must bring your own water bottle.
• Players should use hand sanitizer or wash hands at the end of their practice session

The Club will conduct regular cleaning of shared equipment:

• Club will spray mist all Club volleyballs used at tryouts before and after each tryout session
• Club will Lysol spray the ball carts at start and end of each practice session
